The performance Idris, een vriend van ver (12+) is a moving and bitter story about the journey of an underage refugee. This performance is based on the personal story of the lead actor, Fajr Abdelkader. His story is symbolic of that of many refugees. But it also deals with the role and working methods of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND), human traffickers, the Dutch constitution, and tensions within the local community when asylum seekers are taken in.
